Valeco Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an established company based in Edinburgh(near Edinburgh Airport, own transport essential), who are looking for a dedicated Financial Assistant to join their team. This is a permanent full-time office based position offering a competitive salary up to 35,000 and free office parking.
About the Role:
As a Financial Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing payroll processing for approximately 20 staff.
- Conducting bank reconciliations and credit control.
- Preparing accounts up to the trial balance stage.
- Producing financial reports and analyses.
- Managing pricing, invoicing, and other financial transactions.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Financial Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong financial accounting knowledge and skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
