Do you have experience of use Sage 50 and working in a busy small team where you are very hands on and dealing with the transactional side of finance as well as the Monthly management accounts and reporting for the senior leadership team?
We are looking for someone to start a short term temporary contract for around 3 months in Scarborough, working for a well established charity and managing their day to day accounts.
What the Accountant / Bookkeeper job involves
- General bookkeeping
- Managing the Profit & Loss
- Cashflow forecasting
- Pre payments and Accruals
- Preparing the monthly Management Accounts
- Reporting for the Senior leadership team
- Monthly Payroll
Skills required
- Previous use of Sage 50 is essential
- Charity experience is desirable, but not essential
- A good all round accounting background as you will be in a stand alone position
Other information
- Full time 37.5 hours a week
- Up to 3 months temporary contract
- Possible hybrid working once you are established within the role
