A client of ours in the Kelvedon area are recruiting a Credit Controller to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying 26,000 - 35,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitor and manage the credit control process to ensure timely collections.
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to address outstanding invoices and discuss payment terms.
- Resolve billing issues and disputes efficiently, ensuring smooth payment processes.
- Maintain accurate client records, including payment histories and credit limits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to produce regular reports on outstanding debts and cash flow.
- Build strong relationships with clients to promote effective communication and proactive credit management.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Credit Controller position:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar accountancy role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Attention to detail
