- Procuring materials for manufacturing and operations.
- Expediting orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts.
- Working closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain team to meet company objectives.
- Handling any supply chain issues promptly and professionally.
- Participating in process improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Reporting on procurement activities and performance.
Profile
A successful Engineering Buyer should have:
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience reading technical drawings.
- Experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- A good understanding of procurement processes and policies.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
