We are seeking motivated and skilled Spandrel Line Operators to join our production team. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality manufacturing, we want to hear from you!
Position: Spandrel line operative
Location: Coalville
Type: Temp to Perm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the spandrel production line to ensure products meet high-quality standards.
- Utilize manual pneumatic tools (e.g., air drills, impact wrenches, pneumatic grinders) to assist in production.
- Read and interpret specification drawings for accurate production processes.
- Conduct quality checks and measurements, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production targets.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and meet production deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely.
Additional information:
Pay rate: £12.40
OT over 37.5h £18.60
OT Sunday £24.80
Shift pattern: 07:00-15:00 Monday to Friday
Assignment: Temp to perm after 12 weeks
