My Client is seeking an experienced Quality Compliance Manager to oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with customer standards and industry regulations, including the BRC standard. The ideal candidate will lead quality initiatives, manage audits, and foster collaboration across departments to maintain high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management System: Maintain and enhance the QMS to ensure conformity with customer standards and BRC requirements.
- HACCP Leadership: Lead the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) team, conducting internal audits and ensuring the effective calibration of equipment.
- Non-Conformance Handling: Manage internal non-conformances and customer complaints by investigating issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective action plans.
- Inspection and Testing: Oversee the inspection and testing of incoming ingredients, finished goods, and packaging materials to ensure quality and compliance.
- Document Control: Maintain document control processes, including updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), managing document reviews, and performing risk assessment updates.
- Allergen Validation: Conduct allergen validations across multiple sites and prepare detailed reports on findings.
- Cross-Department Liaison: Collaborate with managers and staff from various departments to ensure quality standards are upheld throughout the organization.
- Audit Management: Manage third-party and customer audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
- KPI Reporting: Gather and report Quality Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data to senior management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality management, particularly in food safety and compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of BRC standards, HACCP principles, and other relevant quality frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting audits and managing compliance-related documentation.
