About the role -BSL Teaching Assistant - Newham
- Small classes to support staff and create a safe environment

- BSL Teaching assistants are required to provide motivation for children
- Help promote independence
- Support and liaise with the class teacher, sharing progression of the children.
Ideal BSL Teaching Assistant
- British Sign language (BSL) qualification level 2 minimum
- Experience working with children/young people with Special Educational Needs
- Ability to translate BSL from hearing impaired students to non-signing students
- Assist and support the classroom teacher daily
- Passionate to make a positive impact on children's lives
- Experience working in a school or school like setting
