Our client, a leading provider of enabling technologies for industrial growth markets, is seeking a motivated and skilled Quality Engineer to join their team in Lincoln. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company that operates across diverse sectors, including aerospace and defence, factory automation, environmental monitoring, electronics design, and more.
As a Quality Engineer, you will support the Quality Manager and be a key player in ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained across the business.
Typical responsibilities will be to: -
- Handle non-conformance issues and lead improvement initiatives.
- Conduct vendor audits of UK based suppliers, driving improvements initiatives.
- Perform internal audits and engage in continuous improvement activities.
- Develop and implement inspection standards and quality system tools.
- Provide expert guidance on quality management processes and industry best practices.
- Analyse process control data and report key performance metrics.
- Support management with actionable insights for review meetings and strategic planning.
The successful Quality Engineer will: -
- Have gained their experience within quality within a manufacturing environment.
- Have internal audit experience.
- Be a strong communicator who can engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of ISO 9001.
