Position: Project/QC Manager
Location: Montague Gardens, Cape Town
Minimum Qualification Criteria : - Matric
- Degree in Quality Surveyor/ Project Management would be advantageous
- SACPCMP Certificate: Candidate Construction Project Manager
- Min 3 years exp in Project and Quality Control Manager exp
- Min 3 years in the Construction Industry
- Own Vehicle
- Valid SA Driver License
Roles and Responsibilities: - Cost planning
- Reviewing, Analysing and Advising on Tenders;
- Perform risk, value management and cost control;
- Preparing tender and contracts documents, including bills of quantities;
- Understand the implications of health and safety regulations;
- Allocate work to subcontractors;
- Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports;
- Assist in establishing a clients requirements and undertake feasibility studies;
- Prepare and analyse costings for tenders;
- Assisting with the planning of job timescales by understanding supplier lead-times;
- Researching materials, equipment, plant and labour costs;
- Assist in cost monitoring of site resources;
- Collecting quotes from materials suppliers and sub-contractors;
- Helping with bids for new contracts;
- Inputting and outputting data into established MS Excel estimating spreadsheets;
- Assisting in assessing the levels of risk on a project.
