A well-known bank in South Africa is seeking a
Product Data Engineer to join their team! This individual will design and optimize data solutions that drive product innovation and who will be critical in developing and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
The Product Data Engineer will work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other teams to ensure that the data infrastructure supports product performance, customer insights and decision making.
Duties: - Contribute to the design and development of new applications / systems to meet the business requirements of the product line environment.
- Analyse business or system requirements and data to enhance understanding of the product line environment.
- Participate in and provide input to the architect during the compilation of solution design documentation for new and existing products and systems.
- Build and optimize data storage solutions (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes) for efficient data retrieval and analysis.

- BSc Maths, stats, engineering
- Experience:
- 4 years experience within a similar role
- Advanced SQL experience
- Programming: Azure, AWS experience advantageous
