A leading provider of workplace solutions and materials handling systems, with over 31 years of experience, offers Southern Africa's largest online order catalogue, is looking to a Technical Sales Representative to join their Team. You will specialize in driving sales, building client relationships, new business development, and maintaining excellent customer service. The company supplies handling equipment and storage systems for logistics and supply chain management, they deliver high-quality products and exceptional service.
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant diploma or Degree in Sales or related field
Knowledge of storage and materials handling products is a plus
Technical background with drawings and floor plans is beneficial
Experience in sales or customer-facing roles
Proven track record of meeting sales targets
Own reliable transport
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Sales presentations, relationship building, and customer service skills
New business development abilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent, promote, and sell storage solutions to existing and prospective customers
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis to meet customer requirements
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
Expedite the resolution of customer problems to maximize satisfaction
Achieve sales targets and outcomes within the agreed schedule
Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
Perform additional duties as designated by management.
