We are currently recruiting for a Driver to work for one of our NHS clients in the West Yorkshire area (between Pontefract, Wakefield and Dewsbury).
Duties
- Operate a mini bus to transport staff between 3 hospital locations.
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff and clients to coordinate schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with staff.
Requirements
- Valid D1 driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a driver or van driver is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Shifts are on a rota basis and are 6hrs long with a half an hour break.
Shift times;
Week 1:
06:00 - 12:30
06:30 - 13:00
Week 2:
12:00 - 18.30
12:30 - 19:00
13:30 - 20:00
As part of the recruitment process, candidates must provide a three-year employment history covering any gaps in employment
This role will require a DBS check prior to employment.
Please note that Taskmaster is operating as a recruitment business for this role. This role is on a temporary basis and is running until the end of January 2025 with a possibility of extension.
