Requirements: FMCG experience is essential, and knowledge of Food Safety essential. The incumbent will be responsible for supervising the Cape Town warehouse with regards to receiving, storing, picking and dispatching of stock. Ensure FIFO principles and batch control is strictly adhered to. Monitor the loading of delivery and depot vehicles, ensuring high standard of housekeeping is maintained. Relevant Quality, Food Safety and Safety Systems knowledge preferred. Candidate must have FMCG experience. Knowledge of cold chain supply preferred. Fluent in English, isiXhosa would be beneficial. Relevant Degree essential or studying towards a relevant Degree. Lead and manage warehouse assistants and receiving & dispatch controllers. Manage inventory in the Depot by cyclical stock takes, picking by batch as well as efficient stock rotation. Manage the hygiene of all product in the depot in line with BU requirements. Manage the depot in line with all Food Safety and ISO requirements. Manage the accurate picking of orders ready for delivery. Manage daily, weekly and monthly warehouse, reporting into the CT depot manager. Receive the stock from SCTâs and manage efficient storage thereof. Manage all elements of the CT fridge and receipt and dispatch of Durban and JHB SCTâs in line with agreed product requirements. Manage the loading/offloading of import and export containers for the CT warehouse. Ensure all relevant paperwork is managed in line with requirements stipulated in work instructions inclusive of picking slips. Manage the CHEP account and pallets for the CT depot. Manage the sample issuing and no charge invoice process to lab for quality testing/customers.
