Job Purpose To generate referrals through strong relationships and sound product and service detailing to existing and potential referrers To provide support and training to healthcare providers and end-users for the effective use of medical devices Tasks and responsibilities Conduct patient assessments for referred patients needing HVP Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to healthcare providers and end-users Providing product and technical support and training to healthcare providers and end-users to ensure the safe and effective use of medical devices Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities to garner referrals Providing feedback to product management / quality team on the features and performance of medical devices Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the medical device industry, including new products and technologies Participating in trade shows and other industry events to promote medical devices and provide technical support to customers Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for promoting and selling medical devices Ensuring that all activities comply with regulations and ethical standards Recording all actions and interactions accurately and timeously using the specified company mechanisms Ensuring the safe keeping and control of all company owned assets and equipment entrusted to you Qualifications and Competency Criteria Essential: Grade 12 Preferred Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, engineering, or healthcare Job specific in-service training to understand customer needs, and associated products Proficiency will be determined by both theory test results and practical assessments Periodic assessments and performance evaluations to assess ongoing competency Experience 2-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, healthcare industry or technical support Knowledge of the sleep industry is favorable Previous experience with medical aid auths and claims process is preferable Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Fluency in English and Afrikaans Strong written and verbal communication skills Drivers license code B (manual) Own reliable transport essential no company car provided Ability to work well under pressure Willingness to be available after hours if necessary Display strong attention to detail Ability to multitask, prioritize and remain organized
