The client is a venture fund that invests in innovative, early-stage businesses that widen market access and provide economic opportunities for low-income, mass market populations.
The client is looking for an Impact Measurement Consultant to help them develop a detailed theory of change for their Green Climate Fund (GCF) proposal. This will include structuring existing high-level concepts into a GCF-specific logical framework with clearly articulated activities, outputs, outcomes, and impacts.
Role and Responsibilities
Role: | Impact Measurement
Direct Report | Project lead responsible for the GCF proposal.
Candidates required | 1
Deliverables | Transform existing theory of change into GCF's required format. Develop detailed log frames outlining activities, outputs, outcomes, and impacts. Provide thought partnership to ensure the theory aligns with the goals and metrics required by GCF.
Requirements
Experience required
- Proven experience with GCF proposal processes, including theory of change articulation.
- Background in developing and structuring theories of change with development finance or NGO-style frameworks.
Technical requirements
- Proficiency in creating detailed log frames and logical frameworks for development finance institutions.
Soft skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Ability to collaborate with Novastar’s internal team to align frameworks with GCF expectations.
Other requirements
- Ability to review examples of successful GCF proposals and implement best practices
Working Arrangement
Location
- Remote, with the ability to collaborate with team virtually.
Operational requirements
- Begin work in mid-November, with a timeline extending to mid-January. Allowances should be made for holiday schedules.
