A leading regional contractor are seeking to employ on a permanent basis an Finance Assistant to join their growing finance department. Ideally, you will be based around the Southampton/ Dorset region.
About the role of a Finance Assistant
You will be joining a comprehensive and experienced Finance Team, who specialise within the Construction sector. Preferably you will have experience within the construction sector but not essential.
Responsibilities for a Finance Assistant
- Logging payments through banking systems
- Provide support to staff within the business and external clients.
- Prepare monthly reports for the board.
- Assisting with contracts
- Monitor Credit control.
Requirements for Finance Assistant
- Minimum qualification at A level Accountancy
- Preferably experience in a similar role
- Strong customer service skills both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn & develop skill set.
- Proactive approach to workload
- An eye for detail
- Supportive and team player nature
