Part time Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper - 13.5 hours a week across 2 days
The Work shop are pleased to be representing a family owned and run business specialising in the retail beds and bedding industry. They manufacture and sell electric adjustable beds, electric riser-recliner chairs and sofa-beds as well as luxury, high end bespoke bed.
They are looking to add a part time accounts assistant to work 2 days a week in the office as part of the small admin team
Responsibilities include
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry of all financial transactions including
- Petty cash, banking, accounts payable/purchase ledger/sales ledger/quarterly VAT return
- Supporting with Payroll/staff holiday and attendance records
- Assisting with credit control and the preparation of monthly payments
- Supplier reconciliations
- Preparing monthly and year-end accounts
- Bank reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier queries
- General office accounts administration
- Expenses preparation
- Any other office admin duties as required
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounts, finance or Bookkeeping and strong Excel and IT Skills
You will need meticulous attention to detail and a methodical and organised approach
5.6 weeks holiday pro-rata

Hours are 08.15am to 3.15pm across 2 days a week - some flexibility may be available on start time if needed
Hourly rate 14 per hour
