About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to join our clothing company in the Eastern Cape . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clothing retail management , with a passion for driving store performance and maintaining high standards across multiple locations. This role requires someone who is proactive, results-driven, and ready to take on a dynamic leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the performance of multiple stores within the Eastern Cape region.
- Drive sales and profitability , ensuring targets are met and exceeded across all stores.
- Train, develop, and support store managers and their teams , ensuring high standards of customer service and store operations.
- Analyze sales reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards in all stores.
- Plan and conduct regular store visits , providing feedback and guidance to improve store performance.
- Implement and monitor merchandising strategies to align with company goals and market trends.
- Manage stock levels and inventory , ensuring product availability while minimizing excess stock.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as an Area Manager in the clothing retail industry (this is non-negotiable ).
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving store performance.
- Must come from a clothing retail background ; other retail experience will not be considered.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the Eastern Cape region.
- Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle are essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills , with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Analytical skills for interpreting sales data and implementing strategies for improvement.
