Our client is seeking a highly skilled, experienced and motivated Civil Engineer or Civil Technologist with a specialized emphasis on the design of civil structures. The successful candidate will play a key role in our engineering team, contributing to the design, analysis, and implementation of a wide range of civil infrastructure projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Civil Engineer / Civil Technologist, the candidate will be responsible for project planning, design, and construction management. This mid-level position involves overseeing specific project elements, working with project teams, and contributing to successfully completing civil engineering projects. The position's main objective is to create high-quality and cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Develop project designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and other project professionals.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
- Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and timelines.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
- Prepare project reports and communicate with company seniors.
Software Utilisation
The following software will be utilized in this role:
- Prokon - Software suite.
- Autodesk Autocad - 2D drawing software.
- Tekla Structures – 3D modelling and fabrication drawings.
- Autodesk Revit – 3D modelling.
- Robot.
- Idea Statica – Structural Steel Connection Designs.
