Enterprise Risk Associate
The Enterprise Risk Associate will play a vital role in a dynamic and pioneering international business, supporting the Legal, Compliance, and Governance team as well as the wider Business Operations team. Responsibilities will include regulatory reporting, third-party management, maintenance of the risk register, and conducting necessary anti-money laundering checks.
The role of the Enterprise Risk Associate requires a confident, self-motivated individual who can work autonomously, collaborate effectively with global team members, and ensure successful contributions and fulfilment of responsibilities.
Key qualifications and experience required for the Enterprise Risk Associate:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (i.e., CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA)
- Min. of 3 years' experience working in a finance team or internal audit team
- Background in Banking or Asset Management is highly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
Key duties of the Enterprise Risk Associate:
- Oversee Third-Party/Vendor Management process and act as SME for relationship owners
- Ensure centralised tracking of all vendors and compliance with policies and procedures
- Support implementation of group-wide third-party risk management system
- Prepare firm-wide quarterly risk monitoring reports and review fund-level risk reports
- Maintain risk register, update it with new risks and document mitigation plans
- Assist in onboarding relevant departments to the group-wide risk management system
- Track all risk activities in accordance with group policies
- Regulatory reporting activities as required by the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority (full training provided)
- Assist Compliance team with anti-money laundering data and checks
- Support ad hoc projects across the Business Operations team as needed
