AnEnvironmental Assessment Practitioner is responsible for coordinating and producingEnvironmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) that accompany planning applications for large-scale developments with significant environmental implications. Here are some typical duties and responsibilities for this role:
- Review of Technical Reports : Assessing technical documents related to environmental impact assessments.
- Attendance at Regular Meetings : Representing the environmental team in project meetings.
- Site Visits : Conducting field visits to assess project sites.
- Authoring Deliverables : Creating both non-technical and technical reports.
- Production of Mapping and Figures : Developing visual representations of environmental data.
- Internal Progress Reporting and Knowledge Sharing : Keeping the team informed and sharing insights.
- Research into New Guidance and Legislation : Staying up-to-date with environmental regulations
