Job Overview
Our client boasts a global portfolio of almost 1.5 GW of renewable energy projects. They are looking to hire a Financial Manager with experience overseeing the financial aspects of SPVs and understanding the REIPP landscape.
Your analysis of multi-entity assets spanning several national regions is above industry standards. You understand transfer pricing policies and excel at developing and executing business strategies, financial reporting, and transactional management of portfolio assets.

Responsibilities
- Review balance sheet and creditors reconciliations prepared by administrators
- Run month-end closing and year-end closing procedures
- Release payments on banking system
- Prepare monthly deferred tax calculations and file provisional and income tax returns
- Review VAT calculation prepared by administrators
- Manage debt repayments and shareholder distributions
- Lead the annual budgeting process by preparing templates for budget holders and consolidating results
- Monitor cost control on operating and capital expenditure, and communicate monthly variances and forecasts
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts with input from budget holders
- Prepare half-year and year-end reporting packs following Group instructions
- Preparation of AFS in accordance with IFRS
- Prepare Finance section of monthly Shareholder Reports
- Prepare and present the Finance reports for the quarterly Board meetings
- Prepare ED/SED quarterly finance report
- Review performance of administrator against their annual performance objectives
- Manage external audit process and assist in the BBBEE audits
- Assist in compilation of Enterprise and Socio-Economic Development reporting

Education & Experience Requirements
- Education: Qualified CA(SA)
- Experience: 5+ years of post-articles experience (preferably in the renewable energy industry)
- Embedded knowledge of IFRS
- Proficient in an accounting system (SUN, SAP, Pastel, AccPac)
- Experience with BBBEE and ED/SED in REIPP reporting
- Any experience in a shared services environment, a multi-entity, or asset-intensive organisation
Package & Remuneration
R800k - 900k CTC per annum
