REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric
- BCom Investment Management (Non-Negotiable)
- RE Exams and industry related training
- FAIS and FICA and other relevant legislation
- 1 Year experience in Financial Planning
DUTIES: New business implementation: - Implementation of new business, including fund manager and life office follow-ups. This includes completing and submitting application/prospectus forms where necessary, contacting suppliers and ensuring business completes in a timely fashion.
- Follow-up any outstanding payments or documentation from the Client.
- Input of all relevant Client details on the Client management system.
Client Services: - Take and prepare client meetings.
- Request house view risk quotes and be able to take a client through a risk or investment application form.
- Ability to assist with ROA under close supervision.
- Facilitate drafting of Wills.
- Ensure the accurate production of all Client portfolio review documentation and reports.
- Regularly update and maintain Client, insurance and investment information in the Client management system.
- Implementation of all switches or redemptions, including all fund manager follow-ups. This includes completing forms where necessary.
- Implementation of all changes to insurance benefits or coverage, including all life company and medical/financial follow-ups.
- Ensure all Client problems are solved in an efficient manner, often handling the liaison with fund managers, life offices and Clients. Assist with all Client enquiries, in-line with the company’s service offer. This may include delegating the Client inquiry to the most appropriate staff member.
- Contribute towards the maintenance of existing Client relationships with the company.
Marketing plan implementation: - Participation in marketing activities as required, e.g., attend client functions.
Administration: - Produce any documents or correspondence as required by the Adviser, Wealth Manager.
New client take on: - Attend or contribute towards Client meetings as requested by the adviser.
- Contribute towards the management of the ongoing Client relationship in-line with the sale and service offering, to achieve the desired retention levels for each segment.
- Conduct any prospect follow-up phone calls to obtain further information on planner’s request.
Advice: - Accurately assess client’s needs, objectives and risk tolerance and formulate an effective draft financial plan strategy and/or risk management strategy to be signed off by the Wealth Manager.
- Formulate effective financial plan documents and/or risk management documents, in-line with the company guidelines, and the client’s needs, objectives and risk tolerance.
HOURS: - Monday to Thursday: 8:00 – 17:00
