ZiyanaGroup is looking for an experienced digital learning content developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating engaging and interactive learning materials to support our internal Learning and Development initiatives as well as those of our clients.
- Design and develop engaging e-learning modules, videos, and other digital learning formats that align with client’s scope of work.
- Incorporate interactive learning elements, such as quizzes, simulations, and gamification, to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
- Ensure that digital learning content is visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible to learners with diverse needs.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and usability of digital learning content.
- Conduct and document user analysis to ensure all online courses meet usability standards and content heuristics.
- Design courses using dynamic interactions, incorporating online learning models to implement adult learning principles throughout delivery.
- Evaluate, plan and implement a variety of digital content techniques to support/convert instructional design of content in a strategic manner.
- Ideate, create and own the storyboarding process, script writing, mood board mapping, content layout interaction, instruction, and consistent content design and development.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of courseware functionality and usability by producing supporting documentation, which will include corrective measures and recommendations.
- Plan and manage instructional design projects using internal and/or vendor resources.
- Define course objectives and design/develop courseware presentation and practice activities, which train learners to achieve performance objectives.
- Work with and deploy content, course material, and/or courseware within our learner management system.
- Capture concepts and screen actions in clear logical ways.
- Design and develop supporting graphics, animations, and effects to optimize the learning experience according to client expectations and internal requirements.
- Continuously discover and implement new editing techniques, learning technologies, and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and drive learning.
- Remain up to date on any learning developments by meeting regularly with e-Learning specialists and reading relevant information on e-Learning developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, e-learning, or a Human Resource Development or any related field.
- Proven experience developing digital learning content in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with instructional processes to develop well-planned content flows.
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, and/or JQuery).
- Creative thinking, attention to detail, and logical and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Organized with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to take initiative and act in a proactive manner.
- A strong desire to expand current knowledge through research and learning.
- Previous experience in completing full builds of major e-Learning interventions.
- Experience in e-Learning design and development.
- Knowledge of e-Learning development applications.
- Knowledge of AICC and SCORM standards.
