Our client, a dynamic Trade and Marketing Specialist based in Cape Town, has an exciting vacancy for a qualified and experienced Insights Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct necessary research, analyze data, and build compelling stories that expose the hidden meaning behind it.
- Develop Commercial Strategies, Brand strategies, In-trade execution strategies, Touch-point (POS) strategies, and general retail strategic work.
- Present solutions to clients while adding value and consulting internally and externally as required.
- Research functional requirements by synthesizing data and building a story from the facts.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research of consumer behavior.
- Analyze consumer questionnaires and surveys.
- Translate insights into product concepts and transform them into presentation format.
- Analyze market data and build stories that expose the hidden meaning.
- Foster winning relationships with key senior stakeholders in client companies.
- Identify opportunities in customer engagements and shape them into briefs.
- Account management and leading projects for customers.
- Be hard-working, diligent, determined, and prepared to go the extra mile.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Must Have:
- BBus Sci Marketing or BCom Degree.
- 5 years shopper insights experience.
- 10 to 15 years overall related working experience.
- Previous experience of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- A detailed knowledge of brand and retail environments.
- Hands-on shopper tracking experience.
- Experience in presenting to clients.
