This role focuses on maintaining optimal cost efficiency for menu items and maximizing profit margins, ultimately contributing to the restaurants’ success and longevity.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform detailed food and beverage costing, ensuring accurate menu pricing and inventory control.
- Calculate and analyse profit margins, track ingredient costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and management teams to manage stock and forecast spending, helping to streamline operational costs.
- Prepare and present monthly financial summaries that guide decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience: - Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with a CIMA certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in a food and beverage or restaurant environment, focusing on cost analysis.
- Fluent in Afrikaans, with strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
