The Mechatronic Engineer will design, develop, and improve mechatronic systems and solutions within our manufacturing operations. This role requires expertise in mechanical, electronic, and software engineering, alongside a solid understanding of Product Data Management (PDM) systems to ensure effective integration and management of product data throughout the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design and Development: Design, develop, and test mechatronic systems and components for manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- PDM Implementation and Management: Utilize PDM systems to manage product data, documentation, and engineering changes effectively. Ensure that all design and manufacturing data is accurately captured, stored, and easily retrievable for stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements. Develop and implement solutions to optimize production workflows and reduce downtime.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. Provide technical support and training to production staff on mechatronic systems and PDM tools.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct testing and validation of mechatronic systems to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in mechanical and electronic systems as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in mechatronics engineering within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge and experience with PDM systems.
