An opportunity has arisen for a General Restaurant Manager at a new high-end casual steakhouse restaurant inside a national park in South Africa. We are in search of an individual with a minimum of five years of experience in restaurant management. A solid grasp of general restaurant operating procedures is required, along with the ability to manage both front and back of house effectively. Candidates must exhibit a positive attitude and possess an outgoing personality as well as solution focused attitude. Fluency in English is mandatory, and only those with a loyal employment history and excellent references will be considered. Proficiency in staff management and training, stock control, and the execution of opening and closing procedures is essential. Additional responsibilities will include restaurant administration. We seek a passionate, hardworking individual who is driven to succeed and who can perform well under pressure while leading a team. Strong customer relations skills are also necessary. The salary offered is R 25,000 with medical aid and pension fund. Please note this role is live in so accommodation will be provided.
