Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for the company’s manufacturing products or solutions.
Identify new sales opportunities and customer segments to expand market share.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, including distributors, suppliers, and end-users.
Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with products and services.
Business Development:
Identify and evaluate potential new customers, markets, and opportunities for product expansion.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
Product Knowledge & Presentations:
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s manufacturing processes, products, and services.
Deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to customers.
Negotiations & Contract Management:
Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and agreements with customers, balancing customer satisfaction and profitability.
Prepare and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
Monitor sales performance and forecast future sales based on market conditions and customer demand.
Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipelines, and results to senior management.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with production, R&D, and logistics teams to ensure product availability, quality, and delivery timelines meet customer expectations.
Communicate customer feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement in products and services.
Customer Support & Issue Resolution:
Provide post-sales support, addressing any customer issues or complaints promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve any product-related issues that arise.
Training & Mentorship:
Provide training and mentorship to junior sales representatives, helping them develop their skills and improve their performance.
Share industry knowledge and best practices with the broader sales team.
Travel & Client Visits:
Frequently travel to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and participate in industry conferences to promote the company’s products and stay connected to the market.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Background and understanding of Rubber will be an advantage
Technical Background or technical understanding
Sales Acumen: Strong sales skills with expertise in closing deals, account management, and customer retention.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and persuasive presentations.
Negotiation Skills: Experience in negotiating large contracts, including terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Technical Understanding: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, technical products, and the ability to understand customer specifications.
Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly address and resolve issues to maintain positive client relationships.
CRM Tools: Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and sales software.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
