- In your role as Senior Manager (m/f/d) Innovation Management you will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Innovation Management at Heraeus Precious Metals, playing a pivotal role in managing and driving the company's innovation excellence on a "daily basis".
- Furthermore, you will contribute to HPMs concepts for innovation excellence, and you will support the derivation and further development of HPMs domains (focus applications).
- Running the HPM Innovation project management office (steering, methods, project management principles) and carrying out ideation workshops and accelerators will also be part of your responsibility.
- You will take an active role in the governance of innovation.
- Additionally, you set up and drive multi / outside-Business Line innovation topics.
- Last, but not least you manage technology scouting in the area new market / new technology, supported by business lines.
- Master in natural science, mathematics, informatics, or engineering, ideally with PhD
- A solid understanding of business metrics, financial implications, and the ability to align innovation activities with business goals (ideally with MBA)
- Expertise in leading organizational change and adapting to new ways of working
- Strong ability to conduct market research, trend analysis and technology landscape assessments to spot and evaluate new opportunities quickly
- Proficiency in project management methodologies to verse innovation projects from concept to implementation as well as a sound understanding of innovation processes
- Fluent in English and command of German language is of help
- Strong networking and leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for innovation, alongside a readiness to inspire teams and challenge the status quo
