Property Finance Assistant
Job Type: Full-Time (36-40 hours per week)
Location: Must reside in South Africa
Work Schedule:
- Monday- Friday: 3 PM - 11 PM
- Saturday/Sunday: Flexible hours to meet weekly targets
- 6 days a week, flexibility in schedule to achieve 36-40 hours
The Property Finance Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing tenant payments, and assisting with financial tasks related to property management. The role requires a proactive approach to customer service, collections, and basic bookkeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Duties:
- Data entry related to tenant information, rent payments, and property expenses.
- Tracking tenant payments and following up on outstanding or missed payments.
- Paying bills related to property management (utilities, maintenance, etc.).
- Assisting with collections and ensuring timely payment processing.
- Basic bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Customer Service & Leasing:
- Handling leasing inquiries via phone and email.
- Coordinating and scheduling appointments for viewings or lease signings.
- Responding to tenant concerns and resolving issues related to rent, maintenance, or other inquiries.
- Following up on non-payment issues and working with tenants to resolve payment delays.
- Communication:
- Maintaining clear, professional communication with tenants and property managers.
- Drafting emails, reports, and notices to tenants regarding financial matters or lease agreements.
Required Skills:
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with data entry systems, Microsoft Office, and basic property management software.
- Financial Competence: Basic understanding of collections, billing, and bookkeeping; good with numbers and financial records.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management, finance, or administrative roles is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining accuracy.
- Flexibility in working hours, with availability to work on weekends and some weekday evenings.
- Stability in previous work experience.
- Own laptop & stable Wi-Fi/fiber.
