Purpose of the Job
Responsible for support of all national offices
Maintain uptime of JDJ computer, telephone and network infrastructure.
Look at system inefficiencies and recommend solutions
Maintenance and upgrade of infrastructure
Hardware management
Maintain relationship with suppliers
Creation and management of technical documentation and SOPs.
Contribution and input to IT Policy
Asset management
Key Performance Areas
Document existing infrastructure
Ongoing hardware evaluation and preventative maintenance
Create a budget for planned maintenance and replacement of ageing infrastructure
Telephone infrastructure support
Management of printers
Liaise with Service providers and assess service levels we receiving
Tracking of user accounts
Management of assets
Cable management in server room, network cabinets and users desks
Proficiency in troubleshooting, installation, support and repairs to
- IT hardware (PCs, laptops, printers)
- Microsoft Windows OS, Teams, Office suites
- Network switches and routers
- Network cabling including termination
Travel when required to our branches to assess and effect repairs.
Compulsory
Individual must be a people person
Must have valid code 08 drivers license
A+ and N+
Working knowledge of VOIP systems
Networking experience (cabling and troubleshooting)
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Office and Teams (installation and support)
Support the day-to-day needs of the business by providing data analysis, project deliverables and operational needs to achieve strategic objectives.
