As the Plant Operator you will play an important role in controlling the production process of Biomethane gas and liquid CO2 .
Key Responsibilities:
- Process control of the production of Biomethane gas and liquid CO2.
- Monitor and control plant and related operations on site.
- Minor maintenance on equipment.
- Housekeeping-Cleaning of all plant equipment and plant-related building
- Tanker loading of both Biomethane gas and liquid CO2.
- Daily logs, production readings, and sampling of CO2 and Biomethane gas.
The position will be full-time shift work which includes weekend work as well as overtime from time to time.
Requirements:
- NQF 5 electrical/instrumentation/chemical engineering .
- Basic mechanical and instrumentation experience .
- Biogas plant and CO2 recovery experience would be an advantage.
- Scada system would be an advantage.
