As the Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic and implementation-focused marketing plan, to establish the brand position, drive business growth across global trading regions, through a mix of digital and non-digital tactics.
The ideal candidate will report directly to the Exec Management team, and will have a strong understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work with the account management, support and sales teams in a fast-paced, but relaxed environment.
This is a Cape Town based, office based position and B2B experience non negotiable.
Responsibilities:
- Executing marketing strategy and plan
- Positioning the brand
- Building internally and externally relationships
- Collaborating with sales
- Managing marketing and brand campaigns and events
- Monitoring client relationships
- Reporting on marketing performance metrics
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or similar in Marketing, Business, Communication or a related field
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B and tech or Saas industries
- Strong understanding and experience of marketing principles and strategies
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns
- Excellent project management and implementation skills
- Ability to think strategically and analytically
- Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and bring fresh ideas to the table
- Knowledge and experience with digital marketing tools and platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to craft compelling marketing copy
- Strong team work and collaboration skills
- Results driven with a "can-do" attitude
- Adaptable with a proactive mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced relaxed environment
- Willingness to travel - occasional
- Knowledge of the telematics or fleet management industry - preferable
- Familiarity with global marketing trends and regulations preferable
