Job Title: Freelance Multimedia Designer
Key Purpose:
Ability to interrogate the brief and strategy in order to produce world-class ideas, craft in design and results on more digitally focused platforms. This includes social campaigns, digital UX/UI based environments as well as a basic understanding of the back-end functionality of these platforms.
Creative Responsibilities:
- Assist the Creative Directors in building the creative reputation of the agency.
- Take accountability for ensuring all creative output consistently meets the highest quality standards.
- Assist in the presentation of creative work internally and externally in a clear, professional, and impactful manner.
- Produce and craft original and great concepts and designs proactively and in response to creative briefs of existing or potential clients.
- Work with Strategy & Account Management to understand clients’ brands and manage projects to support the delivery of iconic work.
- Encourage and facilitate collaboration within the creative department and other departments within the agency.
- Stay aware of current trends and popular culture to confidently stay ahead of the curve.
- Consistently develop and refine craft in a way that demonstrates passion for the work.
- Contribute to the shop window (local and international awards).
Business Management Responsibilities:
- Accurate recording of work time.
- Actively participate in new business pitches and business development when required.
- Spread positive sentiment and avoid contributing to negative sentiments that could harm the agency's reputation.
People/Collaboration Responsibilities:
- Develop skills and knowledge that anticipate and reflect the changing needs of the agency and its clients through on-the-job development and active participation in the creative department.
- Provide feedback to the Creative Director regarding improvements to the creative department and play a key role in digital innovation.
- Support and involve team members at appropriate times to resolve issues.
- Encourage all members to seek collaborative ways to enhance the agency's work environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of three years' experience in a Multimedia Designer position within a creative or advertising agency.
