Supply Chain Coordinator
A unique and exciting opportunity exists for a Supply Chain Coordinator (20 hours per week) at Southern Cross Central Lakes Hospital in Queenstown.
This opportunity presents a rare mix of working in a new, vibrant, growing hospital, whilst living in arguably one of the most stunning locations in New Zealand along with its incredible lifestyle.
Southern Cross Central Lakes Hospital (SCCLH) received its first patients in January 2022, and has steadily developed a broad range of specialty surgery covering both private and public patients. The joint venture ownership between Southern Cross Healthcare and Central Lakes Trust ensures leading clinical service delivery whilst maintaining a genuine focus to provide healthcare services to the general population across broader Central Otago.
The purpose of this part-time role is to complete tasks required that support the onsite Supply Chain Management processes within the hospital. The role is responsible for activities including the inbound process for product ordered, the storage, movement & management of inventory held.
This is a hands-on role requiring effective communication skills and a positive attitude, working with a great team! Our focus is on continuous improvement across the business and Supply Chain.
This is a part-time, 0.5 FTE (20hrs per week) permanent position.
- Ideally 2-5 years’ experience in a supply chain/inventory management role
- Proficient in MS Office and experience with ERP
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Self-motivated, dependable, and well organised
- Demonstrated experience of building strong relationships and customer service with both internal and external parties
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Background in healthcare would be an advantage
