Nursing Manager Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage and supervise a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to promote professional development and ensure optimal performance.

Nursing Manager Qualifications & Skills
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role, with a minimum of 50 nurses reporting to you.
- Strong clinical background with several years of nursing experience
- Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations
- Proven ability to lead and motivate staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Proven experience as a Nursing Manager or in a similar leadership role, demonstrating exceptional organizational and managerial skills.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, procedures, and best practices, including understanding of nursing standards and evidence-based practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of advancements in the nursing field.

- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in electronic medical record systems and other healthcare software.
