As the Cancellations Administrator, you are at the heart of supporting our teachers. You contribute to a positive and productive learning environment by offering:
Scheduling Support: You assist our teachers in managing their schedules during emergencies by efficiently cancelling or reassigning classes to other available teachers. Your quick decision-making and organizational skills will ensure that our students' learning experiences remain uninterrupted, making you an essential part of our support team.
Technical Support: You are the first point of contact for teachers seeking support with common technical issues or navigating our user-friendly in-house teaching platforms. For more complex issues, you will escalate to our technical team.
In this entry-level role, you efficiently handle inquiries from teachers, providing timely and accurate support.
Position Title: Cancellations Administrator
Shift Type: Regular day/mid-shift rotation
Contract Type: Fixed term contract (1 year)
Environment: This is an on-site role based at our Bryanston office
Working Hours: 45 hours per week, between 09:00 to 21:00
Work Schedule: Adhoc hours, weekend work required
Base Rate: R40 per hour
Representative Monthly Salary: +/- R8 000- R11 000 for Day or Mid-shift

Main Responsibilities
Customer Support
Provide clear and professional support to teachers regarding cancellations requests through phone, email, and case system.
Telephone Etiquette
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette by answering calls promptly, communicating clearly and courteously, listening actively, and addressing teachers' concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Case Queue Management
Monitor and manage incoming cases related to cancellations and tech support queue, ensuring all cases are resolved within specified timeframes.
Prioritize and escalate complex or urgent cases as needed.
Coordination
Collaborate with internal teams, such as administration and support staff, to resolve cancellation-related issues.
Documentation
Maintain accurate records of all cancellation requests and communications.
Continuous Improvement
Provide feedback on the cancellation process and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and teacher satisfaction.
Background
Previous experience in administrative support, customer service, or a similar role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Experience with online teaching is an advantage. Must have reliable transportation to commute to the office. Ideally be located within 15 to 50 kilometers of the office.
