Well established national retailer are looking for an experienced applicant to join their dynamic team.
The Admin Controller (2IC) serves as the second-in-command in the administration department, supporting the CAO in managing daily operations, overseeing administrative functions, and ensuring efficient office management. This role requires strong leadership skills, organizational capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
- Assist the CAO in strategic planning and implementation of administrative policies.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor administrative staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote professional development.
Financial Management:
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring of departmental expenses.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and expense reports.
Communication:
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and present reports on departmental performance to the CAO.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement within administrative processes and recommend solutions.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in an administrative role, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of office management procedures and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
