A holding company is looking for a Compliance Officer to join their organisation.
Ensure the company’s operations comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. This position supports the Group Financial Director with company secretarial duties for all group subsidiaries and assists in legal operations, ensuring the organisation adheres to statutory obligations and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across the organisation.
- Support the Group Financial Director with company secretarial functions, including maintaining statutory registers and filing returns.
- Assist with legal operations, including contract reviews and managing external legal counsel.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to identify potential compliance issues.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting and resolution of compliance matters.
- Develop, implement, and review company policies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and legal requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance issues and internal policies.
Essential Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., CCSA, ICSA) in compliance or corporate governance.
- Proven experience in compliance, company secretarial duties, and legal operations.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in a group structure environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance on complex regulatory issues.
