Job Description We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the mobile app and software development sectors. Purpose of the Role: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for achieving the company's income and profitability goals by driving market share growth. This will be accomplished through strategic positioning of our advanced biometric technologies and selling our comprehensive suite of services to both new and existing clients using consultative and solutions-based selling techniques.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of sales experience as a "Hunter" with a proven track record.
At least 2 years of industry experience is required.
Experience in biometric technologies or security solutions is advantageous.
Familiarity with electronic solutions and consulting in a business environment is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and develop a target-aligned sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
Maintain up-to-date sales pipeline and activity status reporting, providing monthly progress updates to management.
Drive sales through consultative solutions by understanding clients’ business needs and offering tailored biometric solutions.
Stay informed about changes within the industry and their relevance to client solutions.
Collaborate with extended partnership and referral networks to enhance market reach.
Work closely with management and support functions to shape viable commercial value propositions.
Prepare business proposals and contribute to the development of new business strategies.
Participate in and lead business development strategy sessions focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
Provide feedback on innovation and competitor activity to relevant management forums.
Plan and execute appropriate sales tactics.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Ensure clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Liaise with potential business partners and negotiate contracts.
Evaluate new business development fiscal impacts and communicate decisions effectively.
Oversee client onboarding and ensure services are billed accurately.
Project Management:

Drive the creation of professional sales presentation materials and onboarding documentation.

Business Development and Reporting:

Ensure accurate and timely submission of required reports.
Maintain records of sales, revenue, and client interactions for auditing purposes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and practices while promoting our products/services to meet client objectives.
Requirements Matric and diploma / Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. EXPERIENCE (PRACTICAL ON-THEJOB EXPERIENCE) • 3-5 years’ experience administering an ERP system. • Experience with ERP Systems advantageous • Experience in, report writers, SQL, workflow, and UML modelling advantageous. • Must have experience managing projects, setting up, deployment of information systems. • Experience in Microsoft 365 products and Business reporting Tools/Solutions will be advantageous KEY COMPETENCIES Knowledge (what must I know): • Computer Literate • Excel • ERP systems Skills and Abilities (what must I be able to do / display) • Have a good understanding of business processes and the documentation thereof. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
