F & I MANAGER MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: - Ensure that all personnel in department adhere to and follow OEM, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Finance and Insurance Manager with all administration, compliance, Signio and documentation.
- To provide an effective service to customers and the dealer through vehicle finance and the sale of approved products thereby maximizing the second gross profit
- To ensure maximum efficiency and profitability of the company whilst giving total customer satisfaction
RELATIONSHIPS AND PERSONAL ACTIVITIES: - Directly responsible to General Manager
- Relationship with:
- Vehicle manufacturers, banks, insurance companies
- Other professional organizations, SABTA, M.I.F., N.A.D.A., N.A.A.M.S.A., I.M.I., Chamber of Commerce, other motor vehicle dealers
- Other companies' representatives and suppliers
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATISFACTION:
- To maintain a high level of customer satisfaction whilst maximizing profits
- To improve the quality of customer service and retention by referring customers to in-house financial and insurance facilities
- Assisting workshop clients with motor plan extension and quotes
COST CONTROL: - To ensure all customers invoices have been prepared and submitted
- To examine daily / weekly / monthly debtor situation ensuring collection of outstanding accounts
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS: ADMINISTRATION: - To ensure that the department is operated correctly within legal parameters such as the National Credit Agreements Act, Insurance Acts, FAIS, FICA and Tax Laws
- Operate within dealership parameters
- Load electronic applications, contracts, on all bank mediums to facilitate speedy finance approvals and payouts
- To use Signio for contract and product documentation
- To ensure the compliance and FIAS files are completed correctly
- To assist with DOC, daily figure reporting
COMPLIANCE: - Adhere to compliance procedures in terms of FAIS, FICA and such other policies of the company including Beeswax
- Complete required FICA and FAIS documentation
- Submit completed correct, completed FIAS file when required
COMMUNICATION: - To maintain good liaison with financial institutions, insurance companies, professional bodies, suppliers, statutory representatives, and all other contacts
FINANCE: - To keep financial structure of department under constant review
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING: - Knowledge and experience of the retail motor industry
- Skills, experience and knowledge of modern business methods and controls
- Credit Management skills and computer literacy
- Required minimum NCA, FAIS credits and RE exams, CPD points, COB
