As a Senior Architect, you'll be responsible for leading and developing the architecture of our application on Unix/Linux platforms. Your work will involve managing the architecture of our applications and providing advice to developers about how best to implement microservices. You will also have responsibility for designing and building new systems from scratch as well as maintaining existing ones. You'll ensure that all new development is aligned with any architectural changes we make over time.
Requirements
- Recruits and trains new team members
- Analyzes and designs solutions to complex problems using Open Source tools and development methodologies.
- Designs application software for the cloud or a self-managed private cloud.
- Understands how computer systems interact in networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required
- Experience with object oriented and/or non-object oriented languages such as C++, Java, C#, VB.NET preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture and development.
