The QA Test Analyst will be responsible for testing and quality assurance of a variety of applications in the Product Development team. You'll test all aspects of software development, from high-level business logic to performance tests. You should have an understanding of software development lifecycle practices including Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. In addition, you should also have experience with automated unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Selenium.
Requirements
- Conducts or participates in test planning activities that define a suite of tests for the deployment plan
- Performs high-level tests, utilizing tools and procedures that provide deep insight into customer requirements and automation acceptance.
- Ensures quality control during testing.
- Meets with customer representatives to determine the level of testing needed.
- Creates test plans and test cases to ensure Reviews code and information security policies
- Performs product testing and verification during the full development life cycle.
- Ensures that the team follows best practices and always delivers high quality software.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a technical role
- Familiarity with software development tools and test environments.
- Familiarity with QA, quality assurance, and testing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and development with a focus on QA and defect management.
