Job Description
The Regional Finance Manager’s primary purpose is to provide support to the Finance Director in managing and overseeing the Gauteng Finance Department. He/she will also have to:

- Supervise and manage the full accounting function in the Gauteng region
- Manage, develop, mentor and lead the finance team for the Gauteng region
- Review the work performed by the finance team to ensure that the accounting functions are performed accurately and timeously and in accordance with defined processes and legislative requirements.
- Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, procedures and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures
- Review financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness
- Authorise, oversee and review payments for creditors, expenses and COD, on a daily basis
- Perform financial analysis and reporting
- Implement and maintain financial controls
Qualifying Experience
- Relevant degree or Accounting Diploma qualification
- A minimum of 10 years work experience in a managerial finance and administration position
- Experience in using ACCPAC is an added advantage
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office – Advanced Excel knowledge
