Rivertrees started out as a beautiful old coffee plantation before being converted into a B&B, gradually evolving to 34 guest rooms comprising several Garden Rooms, plush River Cottages, the elegant River House and the original Farm House. The variety in this charming collection of lodgings means guests are spoilt for choice, and each accommodation is located in its own private patch of Eden within the 10 acres of grounds.
Its restaurant looks out over lush green lawns, and the delicious African fusion cuisine is made up of garden-fresh ingredients and heritage recipes. The Role
You will be responsible for :
- Providing innovative architectural design consultations to clients.
- Developing initial concept designs and renderings based on briefs to deliver powerful client presentations.
- Identifying and resolving technical design issues and overseeing teams to ensure implementation is in line with design specifications.
- Taking a design brief to understand requirements.
- Presenting ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders.
- Conceptualising and delivering landscape architecture for a variety of projects.
- Preparation of design, presentation materials as well as technical documentation for design development.
Ideal Profile
- You have at least 1 year experience including solid experience in a similar role within Hospitality, Leisure, Travel.
- You possess excellent communication and influencing skills, are organised and able to multi-task effectively.
- You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
