The Job
You will be responsible for :
- Talent Acquisition : understand requirements of business, check for management/business approvals, connect with business to have JD in place, outline approach for hiring followed by sourcing, scheduling , interviewing and selecting the appropriate candidate for the role.
- Coordinate with Corporate HR Team in Bangalore for Compensation Finalization.
- Benefit administration: Carry out benefit administration to employees of both entities as Compensation and benefit guidelines and HR Policies
- Manage employee’s Personnel records. Keep track of employment contracts for all categories including Permanent, Temporary, Learners, Apprentices and YES candidates and ensure that all the valid contracts are in place.
- Performance Management: Ensure employee’s Performance Management Process is carried out within the given timelines set by company . This includes coordination for getting the signed version of KRA target sheets, align with business/functional managers and corporate HR for employee development, facilitate periodic review (employee manager). Additionally facilitate objective evaluation, validation and calibration of the annual performance ratings in consultation with Regional Head-SADC Region, seeking approval from management for next steps (Incentive payout, Annual merit rise, etc.).
- Statutory Compliance: Manager labour related statutory compliances and other regulations like SEIFSA, MEIBC, etc for the SADC region.
- Payroll processing: Coordinate and share inputs for payroll processing.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee engagement, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations.
The Profile
- Ensure consistent application and communication of HR policies.
- Manage HR projects like digitization from inception to completion, ensuring timelines are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Drive employee engagement programs.
- Regularly visit both offices and or sites for employee interactions
- Keep management and corporate HR team updated on local HR topics and issues
- Collaborate and work with the Corporate HR Team at Bangalore
- You have at least 6 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Industrial and Utilities.
- Strong knowledge of legal and statutory requirements pertaining to HR practices.
- Experience in building partnerships and advising multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to handle sensitive / highly confidential information professionally.
- Sound business acumen and thorough understanding of business fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and build credibility across all levels of the organisation.
- You have working knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Compensation and benefits, Employee Relations, Payroll Processing and Statutory Compliance
