Our client in the IT industry, based in Port Elizabeth, is currently looking to employ an IT Installations and Stock Manager.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in Supply Chain/ Project management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably within the hospitality or POS industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

- Proficiency in project management software, inventory management systems, and financial management tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Project/ Installations Management: - Plan, coordinate, and execute projects related to the installation, configuration, and support of POS systems.
- Develop project timelines, set milestones, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, technical support, and development, to ensure project success.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status to stakeholders.
Inventory Management: - Monitor and maintain stock levels across various regional locations to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement and manage stock control systems and procedures.
Order Management: - Coordinate and manage stock orders and deliveries to regional locations.
- Work closely with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Process and track purchase orders and receipts.
Data Analysis and Reporting: - Analyze stock data to identify trends and forecast future inventory needs.
- Generate regular reports on stock levels, movements, and variances.
- Provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
Invoicing and Financial Management: - Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Track payments and manage accounts receivable to ensure that invoices are paid on time.
- Reconcile accounts related to stock and project expenses at month-end.
- Assist in preparing month-end financial reports, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the finance team to address any discrepancies or issues in invoicing or financial reporting.
Team Collaboration: - Liaise with regional managers and staff to address stock-related issues and requirements.
- Train and support regional teams on stock control procedures and systems.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate stock valuation.
Compliance and Best Practice: - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding stock and project management.
- Continuously improve stock control processes and implement best practices.
