A multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm with more than 320 employees and offices across the country, is looking for a Civil Technologist/Technician to join their team.

Location: Cape Town
Salary: R450 000 – R250 000
Key Responsibilities:
Form part of an existing design office and report to the Project Leader
Technical support to Project Leader and Design Engineers
Preparation of designs drawings and typical details to construction drawings level of detail
Assisting with Compilation of Feasibility Reports, Technical Reports, and Tender adjudication reports
Assisting with Compilation of Tender Documentation and Specifications
Key Requirements:
Must have B-Tech degree or National Diploma in Civil Engineering
Good knowledge of local authority and public works approval processes is advantageous
A minimum of three (3) years working experience in a design office is preferred
Valid Driving License
Must be Cape Town based
Design experience in township development and general Civil Works is advantageous
Adherence to office hours and availability for overtime as and when required to meet deadlines·
Have experience with the following Computer Software Programs:
Civil 3D
AutoCAD
MS Office Suite
