Responsibilities
: Create and maintain good relationships with suppliers and customers. Consider agreed customer KPI’s when conducting site controlling functions. Create and issue required documents for orders dispatched from the warehouse. Support business partners in resolving invoice discrepancies to ensure correct payments are made to suppliers. Ensure documentation is generated in the required time frames to support other business functions. Communicate, process and maintain receipt of cargoes in and out of the warehouse. Ensure on time dispatch of shipments. Review and analyse suppliers’ performance. Maintain records of stock in the warehouse along with perpetual stock takes. Process and maintain warehouse stock levels along with related data. Perform monthly detailed stock takes as well as comparison of stock levels to warehouse service providers stock levels. Ensure warehouse invoicing is done with client agreements. Achieve system management and customer service targets. Submit weekly reports of orders received in the warehouse, planned upcoming loads, orders received with errors from suppliers, time frame to resolve errors and staff performance. Submit weekly reports of debtors account status, creditors account status and general matters for attention. Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving and attention to detail skills. Be self-motivated. Excellent computer skills - MS Office suite. Understand and enforce Customs and Excise procedures, regulations and policies. Able to interpret and apply legislation. Computer literacy (Full Microsoft suite). Cargowise 1 preferable. Qualifications: Matric Certificate/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or similar.
